Suheb This looks like a useful approach, especially keeping the QR generation fully client-side. Using Next.js 16 should also make it easier to keep the toolkit fast and lightweight. The focus on privacy is a nice touch since users don't need to upload their QR data to a server.
Kris Dev Thanks! That was exactly the goal. I wanted the core QR workflow to stay fully client-side so users can generate, style, and export their QR codes without sending the payload to a backend. It also keeps the architecture simple and lightweight, which fits well with the kind of utility I want QR Forge to be. Appreciate the feedback!
Ikarov Hey @amyegan, just bringing this back to your attention in case you missed it. Thanks!
Amy Egan Appreciate you reaching out. I'd love to see it stay in the hands of the community rather than have Vercel take over. Feel free to ask around here and in Next.js Discussions to find your successor!
Ikarov Thanks, @amyegan ! Just to clarify, I'm also open to discussing a potential acquisition of the @nextjs username itself, alongside the community. Given the long-standing association with Next.js, I thought it might be particularly valuable in the hands of Vercel or the official team. Would this be something worth discussing with the right person?

Galz Update: with Logs in Live mode (no filters except path /), pressing "Scrape Again" in Meta's Sharing Debugger produces no request at all in my project's logs, while the debugger reports 403. Other visitors and crawlers show up normally with 200. My project firewall shows facebookexternalhit as allowed via a Bypass rule, Bot Protection is off, and there are no persistent actions. So Meta's crawler is being blocked at Vercel's edge before reaching the project. Can someone check the platform-level mitigation for www.offband.pro?
Anshuman Bhardwaj Hi @nisarganand541-8212, welcome to the Vercel Community! I'm so happy to see your enthusiasm here. I'd suggest starting small and building v0 projects with them in hackathons or college competitions. Once you have a solid foundation of organizing and managing small events, you can also use our https://meetup-sdk.vercel.com/ to organize a meet up and we'll support you there. Let me know if you have any specific questions.
mr.li512486 Hi Saqib and Vercel Community Team! I’m also a college student, from Guangdong, China, and I’m currently organizing a student-led AI developer club at my college. We are starting with around 20 core members, focusing on AI development, Vibe Coding, Next.js, Vercel, v0, AI SDK, Codex, and other modern AI development tools. After seeing your experience building a Vercel community at your university, I realized that this is very close to what we are hoping to build on our campus. We would love to explore whether there is any way for us to work with the Vercel Community as we start organizing workshops, student projects, and eventually campus developer events. If anyone from the Vercel Community team has advice on how we should get started, I would really appreciate it! Thank you!
sara keyser @nisarganand541-8212 This is an awesome mission! I'd also reach out to your college's student activities/student engagement team and any campus communications or student organizations office. Maybe they can help promote your events through the campus events calendar, newsletters, social channels, and student org network. You could also partner with some other student groups to get the word out and co-host the first workshop. I would also explore the local library, coffee shops or places where you can get on local event calendars so you can attract people outside the school..even your city's chamber of commerce. Lastly if there are any engineer teams based in your area - directly connecting with them to host a talk, or join your events, and who knows - this may also lead to internships and opportunities for you and your community! Best of luck 💫

Amy Egan Hey, James. Appreciate you reaching out about this. The team shipped an update yesterday so your dashboard now reflects each day's deployment storage amount instead of the billing period maximum. I'm linking some Deployment Storage optimization tips in case you still need help reducing the amount of storage used https://vercel.com/docs/deployment-storage/optimize
James Singleton Hi Amy. Yea after doing some Googling I was able to find stuff about it. It's a little concerning that this was pushed out without an email letting users know. All of a sudden I was getting emails saying that I was using 40 GB of the 10 GB of deployment storage with a single deployment taking up like 30 GB. I started to panic! One issue I ran into is that retention policies were defaulted to 30 days for everything. Even after setting some to 1 week and in some cases 1 day, I wasn't seeing deployments being removed. I had to go through and manually delete deployments. I basically had to delete all by 6 deployments for my major project with 5 of those being production deploys and one being a preview. I am down to 11 GB now out of 10... I was below 10 earlier today but then opening a PR to a repo pushed me up to 11 GB. So I have gone through and done what the docs say to do, yet it seemed that Vercel was not going and removing the old deploys after I saved the changes, even days after updating.
James Singleton To add to this, there are projects where the retention is 30 days and I have deployments from January still in my Deployments tab. This project was defaulted to 30 days and I have deployments from Jan-May still there.
