Promotion of deployment dpl_GnhJSykM84FReAeMPFkk8hZo4Skn in project prj_R1qUUcy6xpk5CBNIISeyXum3x7cc returned 409 / conflict at 2026-09-08T14:43:53.939Z.

Request ID: sfo1::nm6tj-1788878633759-d7999547b88d

The deployment remains READY/STAGED. The promotion-alias endpoint reports pending, but lastAliasRequest and rolling-release status are null. Production and cron pointers remain on the old deployment.

Please trace this request, identify the blocking condition, and provide supported recovery for the existing deployment. Cron must remain disabled.

This affects staging testing only; no live customer outage. The failed promotion used the REST API directly, not the Vercel CLI.
