Hi Vercel Team,
I’m trying to understand a Deployment Storage issue on my Hobby team before it reaches the 10 GB limit.
Current observations:
- Deployment Storage: approximately 9.5–9.7 GB / 10 GB
- Functions Storage: approximately 6.76 GB / 10 GB
- Active deployments: 9
- Recently/soft-deleted deployments visible through the API: approximately 322
- Approximately 313 are marked softDeletedByRetention=true
Today I manually deleted 7 deployments, reducing the active deployment count from 16 to 9. However, the Usage dashboard has not shown an immediate reduction.
Could you please clarify:
- Do deployments in the Recently Deleted/recovery period continue contributing to Deployment Storage or Functions Storage?
- Is the lack of an immediate reduction expected because Deployment Storage uses rolling GB-month accounting?
- Is there a supported way for a Hobby user to permanently clean up old soft-deleted deployment storage if the account is approaching the 10 GB limit?
I have already adjusted my workflow to prevent unnecessary deployments.
If account-specific information is required, please let me know if there is a private channel where I can provide the Team/Project identifiers.
Thank you.
